This course aims to clarify to the student the intellectual property rights in general as they are arranged under the Jordanian Legislation and the international conventions.
The course particularly focuses on the essential intellectual property rights, which include copyright and neighboring rights, commercial and industrial property rights: trademarks, patents, industrial designs and models, trade secrets, and other subjects. Further, the course includes the detailed explanation of the international development of intellectual property rights, and in particular their international conventions.
